Somewhere I stumbled across the technique called "freelensing", where you hold your SLR lens against the mount and swivel it around to focus (please Google for more details; I'm not responsible for any damage you inflict on your camera!). It seems like the "poor man's" alternative to getting a Lensbaby. Works for me, since I don't have the budget for a Lensbaby yet (it's on my Amazon Wish List, in case anyone wants to be ridiculously generous :D ), I was happy to try this out. Hope I'm not ruining my D90 with this experiment... *sheepish grin*
I take lots of photos of my cats because they're easy subjects, so why not feature them at least once for 'Roid Week? :) Incidentally, when I first took this photo, the overall cast was a lot less green, almost looking like a faded, but normal Polaroid shot. However, as the afternoon wore on, the green cast became a lot more pronounced. Thought I should scan it now, lest it get even greener in a few hours! Ah, expired film...

Also, it's a lot harder to take candids of the cats with a Polaroid since the camera is so dang loud. :-/
Sprite in the new lounger we got for the kitties. He is a natural-born lounger; we just gave him a new place to do it in. :)
Sprite's little toes
Sprite, stop being so inappropriate!
Poor Sprite, the wide angle makes him look a little bit like an alien. :)
