Originally taken during 'Roid Week 2010 at the Alviso Marina County Park. The color of the sun and the sky in this photo just reminds me of toffee, caramel, or amber. Love the colors from 600 film!
This is a shot from my first pack of Artistic TZ film. I bought 10 packs when The Impossible Project announced it was their last stock of the Paul Giambarba Edition. I thought there was a lot more ATZ film left so I waited to buy some, and now I've waited too long. *sigh* Same thing happened with the last of the 600 film in retail stores!

Oh well, at least I'm shooting ATZ film now, and even though there are lots of defects and the color is very greenish-blue, isn't that what expired Polaroid film is about? Lovely character.

This is also my first attempt at manipulating an ATZ shot (or any Pola). I used the PDA stylus tip on one of my favorite multi-pens to draw/scribble in some texture. Pretty rudimentary, but I liked that I was finally able to experiment a little with this technique.

Stopped over there before sunset to take a few Polaroids. Wow, did I miss shooting this film! Wish I had more than the few packs of Artistic TZ that I have left (this is 600 film).

On a whim we drove down to Santa Cruz. We took the long way down there -- more mountain driving for the hubby -- hung out until a little after sunset, and then drove back the more direct route. Nice day trip. Still can't get over the fact that we can take short trips like this to get to places like Santa Cruz or the Sonoma area. Nice... :)
