It's hard to see, but under the top "Careful" written in a light chalk, there's another "careful" written in a dark chalk (I'm guessing it's chalk). Noticed this when I was walking to Foto Express from street parking. I wonder what I'm supposed to be doubly careful about?
I stumbled across this public art sculpture in San Jose off of E Santa Clara Rd. There were actually a few pieces (by the same artist?) along the road. I walked around a little bit after dropping off some film to be developed at Foto Express.

For some reason this photo feels like summer to me. The colorful sculpture kind of reminds me of a kid's toy held high against the sky, or something at a carnival, both of which make me think of a hot summer day.
Really liked the sunlight highlighting the leaves on this tree. Wish the film had maintained more of an aqua cast rather than turning yellow-green... *sigh*
I take lots of photos of my cats because they're easy subjects, so why not feature them at least once for 'Roid Week? :) Incidentally, when I first took this photo, the overall cast was a lot less green, almost looking like a faded, but normal Polaroid shot. However, as the afternoon wore on, the green cast became a lot more pronounced. Thought I should scan it now, lest it get even greener in a few hours! Ah, expired film...

Also, it's a lot harder to take candids of the cats with a Polaroid since the camera is so dang loud. :-/

This is a shot from my first pack of Artistic TZ film. I bought 10 packs when The Impossible Project announced it was their last stock of the Paul Giambarba Edition. I thought there was a lot more ATZ film left so I waited to buy some, and now I've waited too long. *sigh* Same thing happened with the last of the 600 film in retail stores!

Oh well, at least I'm shooting ATZ film now, and even though there are lots of defects and the color is very greenish-blue, isn't that what expired Polaroid film is about? Lovely character.

This is also my first attempt at manipulating an ATZ shot (or any Pola). I used the PDA stylus tip on one of my favorite multi-pens to draw/scribble in some texture. Pretty rudimentary, but I liked that I was finally able to experiment a little with this technique.
