Welcome to my Millennium Park photo gallery. I'm currently in the middle of updating the gallery with new photos, so be sure to keep an eye out for new stuff.
 
jezlyn > When we first saw the Cloud Gate, my friends and I immediately thought of Flight of the Navigator. :)
jezlyn > The reflections of the skyline in the Cloud Gate are amazing to look at.
jezlyn > And it's even more fun to look at the reflections underneath the Cloud Gate!
jezlyn > Not to turn off the audience by getting all analytical about art, but I really like the juxtaposition of the cold, shiny steel (?) surfaces molded into this organic shape that draws you in.
jezlyn > It's the "belly button" of the Cloud Gate! :D
jezlyn > The different reflections of its observers makes the Cloud Gate a continual source of interesting photos (in my opinion).

jezlyn > This was the first time I saw the LED fountains "spit". It was so funny to see all the kids rush to get under the spray, and hear the surprise and amazement from people around me when the fountain started spouting water.
jezlyn > I looked up and saw an interesting symmetry with the building across the street.
jezlyn > It's interesting that faces of Chicagoans are shown on these huge screens. I wonder if they've all come to the park to see themselves already?

jezlyn > Unfortunately my camera does not have a very wide angle, so this and the next shot are kind of chopped off. But some better wide angle and panoramic shots are coming!
jezlyn > A little better view of the Pritzker Pavillion
jezlyn > I could create a whole series just on documenting people's reactions to the Cloud Gate. It's fun to see how just about everyone is fascinated by the diffferent reflections of themselves and other people around them.
jezlyn > Finally was able to take some night shots of the Cloud Gate. Unfortunately, I had some lighting issues (all of the pics are kind of yellow) that I couldn't fully resolve in post. Hope to post more night shots (better ones) later!
